THE REGION PROJECT

 

THE HOLY VIRGIN (DE HEILIGE MAAGD) is one of seven short films created for Wegener Newspapers. And part of the campaign seven regions positioning;  I love my region. Premiere of the seven short films for the seven regions took place in Tuschinski Amsterdam. Thereafter DE HEILIGE MAAGD is launched in theaters, film festivals and online media.

 

DE HEILIGE MAAGD was produced for the region Brabant and Zuid-West Holland covered by the newspaper “BN de Stem”.

 

Synopsis

In the peaceful village Oudenbosch in the South of The Netherlands lives the old Virgin Mary. No one knows that behind her shy smile lurks a great desire.
