LITTLE HOOFPRINT

 

Kleine Hoefprint (Little Hoofprint) is a Dutch dairy brand that celebrates local dairy.

 

Environmental problem

Many dairy brands claiming to be local, are still importing cattle feed from South America. This imported soya is cheap and plentiful, but unfortunately it’s production causes huge environmental and geopolitical problems.

 

Idea

Introduction of new dairy brand that promises to stay local at every stage of production.

 

How it worked

We launched a site that explained the problem and asked the audience to pre-order our new local cheese. A small farm in Limburg was producing our order for the nearly 12,000 pre-orders.

 

After the success with our brand and campaign “Kleine Hoefprint”, Milieudefensie received almost 2 million euro from the Dutch Postcode Lottery to extend the project to the next level.
