THE LAST BRIDGE KEEPER (DE LAATSTE BRUGWACHTER) is one of seven short films created for Wegener Newspapers. And part of the campaign seven regions positioning;  I love my region. Premiere of the seven short films for the seven regions took place in Tuschinski Amsterdam. Thereafter DE LAATSTE BRUGWACHTER is launched in theaters, film festivals and online media.

 

THE LAST BRIDGE KEEPER was produced for the region Brabant covered by the newspaper “Brabants Dagblad”.

 

Synopsis

Young Daan is all days at home with his unemployed mother and is very passionate about boats. An encounter of Daan with the current bridgekeeper of Tilburg gives an unexpected outcome.
