THE REGION PROJECT

 

NEIGHBOURS (NOABERS) is one of seven short films created for Wegener Newspapers. And part of the campaign seven regions positioning;  I love my region. Premiere of the seven short films for the seven regions took place in Tuschinski Amsterdam. Thereafter NOABERS is launched in theaters, film festivals and online media.

 

NOABERS was produced for the region Twente covered by the newspaper “Tubantia”.

 

Synopsis

A woman of Turkish descent is new in a small village in Twente and decides to meet her neighbor. If she introduces herself, a Babylonian confusion of tongues unfolds.
